There’s nothing better than something sweet to go with the heat. That’s why fruit, and especially a luscious fruit like Mango, pairs so perfectly with Indian food.

ingredients

slightly under-ripe mangos, peeled and diced (¼-inch /.5 cm)

cup (125 mL) diced red onion
½
cup (125 mL) finely chopped cilantro

tsp (10 mL) finely chopped mint
1
Serrano or jalapeno chili, seeds removed and minced
Juice of 2-3 limes (about ⅓ cup)

tsp (20 mL) grape seed oil
½
tsp (2 mL) salt

Step 1

In a bowl, combine mango, red onion, cilantro, mint, and chilies. Stir in lime juice, oil and salt.
