It’s finally the holiday season, and Baking It is bringing you three gifts this year! Not only is there a new season coming to Food Network Canada on January 2, there is also a new host and a spectacular holiday special.
Saturday Night Live alum, and Emmy Award-winner Maya Rudolph returns to the Baking It cabin to host the second season of this cozy cooking competition. Stepping in as her co-host will be Maya’s former SNL castmate and Emmy Award-winner, Amy Poehler. The two comedy queens will be joined once again by the grandma’s, who will be judging the bakers competing for $50,000.

But you don’t have to wait until the new year to see Maya, Amy and the grandma’s in action! A Baking It Holiday Special is coming to Food Network Canada on Tuesday, December 13. Stepping into the Baking It cabin will be a handful of celebrity guests.

Competing in the festive episode will be fellow SNL alum, Fred Armisen, actress Kristen Bell, actor and comedian, J.B. Smoove, and television personality, Nicole Richie. The celebrity competitors will be baking festive treats in the hopes of winning money for a charity of their choosing.
