Nani’s Gelato

Nani’s Gelato is another fan-favourite in Toronto. They specialize in artisanal gelato production and combine authentic Italian and nostalgic Asian gelato flavours. Inspired by the owner’s father’s soft-serve ice cream shop, Nani’s Gelato wanted to combine his passion for frozen desserts and culture in one space. With much success, the local gelato shop has opened its first franchise location and is constantly growing.

Ruru Baked

Unlike other ice cream spots in Toronto, Ruru Baked makes custard-based cold treats. The egg yolks from the custard make the ice cream rich, dense and oh-so creamy. The ice cream shop started as a pop-up and now has two brick-and-mortar locations to visit!
Summer’s Ice Cream

We know Summer’s Ice Cream is a Toronto staple, but do you know who else loved their ice cream? Adam Sandler! That’s right! The Hollywood actor was spotted at the Yorkville ice cream parlour in 2022 and he had visited multiple times. The star ordered a cone of Chocolate Fudge Brownie, which is their best seller!
Dutch Dreams

This ice cream parlour goes back to the 1980s and was created by the Aben family. The store was based on a childhood dream and fashioned in the Dutch style to pay homage to their heritage. Today, it serves ice cream, pancakes, waffles and more, which locals, tourists, and many others love.
Butter Baker

While this Toronto bakery may be known for its other desserts — like cookies, cakes and waffles — it also has delicious house-made soft-serve ice cream that is so good you’ll constantly be going back for more.
