These Are Farm Boy’s Fan Favourite Products of 2022

When it comes to groceries, Farm Boy (AKA Canada’s Trader Joe’s) is one of our favourite spots to find game-changing new products to add to our fridge and pantry (check out our Farm Boy fall favourites for proof). The Ontario-based grocery store puts an emphasis on high-quality produce, meat, and ready-made food, but the real gems are their house label products. This is why we were so excited to see their official Fan Faves of 2022, a ranked list of their most popular products, as voted on by shoppers. Read on to see what made the cut.

1. Spicy Eda-Yummy Kale Dip

With a hearty base of edamame, kale, and jalapenos, this dip is pureed to creamy, spicy perfection. A fan-favourite among the Food Network Canada editorial team, it’s no surprise to us that this ranked as their top product. 2. Lemon Garlic Dressing

This tangy salad dressing goes with just about everything, and also happens to be last year’s #1 Fan Fave product. Whether it’s tossed with fresh leafy greens, quinoa or pasta, it’s always a hit. It also makes for a quick and easy marinade for grilled meat.

3. Butternut Squash Homestyle Soup

We love a good homemade butternut squash soup, but sometimes the effort of peeling, scooping, and cutting up an unwieldy squash is just too much to handle, which is why Farm Boy’s creamy Butternut Squash Soup is such a winner. Made with simple organic ingredients, all you have to do is heat and serve.

4. Bacon Cheddar Gourmet Burgers

These tasty patties are made fresh in-store daily using Canadian ground beef, cheddar cheese, bacon, breadcrumbs, salt and pepper. With just a handful of simple, quality ingredients, these burgers make a satisfying dinner even beyond BBQ season.

6. Artisan Chorizo Sausages

This new product has been making waves since it launched in late 2021. Often included in “Best of Farm Boy” TikToks, these crispy wontons are made with an egg-based dough for extra crunch, and they’re pre-cooked so all you have to do is heat and serve for a tasty appetizer. We especially love these prepared in the air fryer for an extra crispy finish.
