Duff Goldman became a household name with Ace of Cakes but soon, the success of the Food Network series inspired other cake show and the landscape became saturated with all things sweet. But life after Ace of Cakes was just the beginning for the chef, who is sometimes known as the “bad boy of baking,” as well as a bit of a rock star (he plays bass in Elvis cover band Foie Grock). Combine that with being the face of Charm City Cakes, and it’s safe to say Duff’s plate is full. Some might say, overflowing.
With two cookbooks and a handful of shows on Food Network Canada, Duff isn’t going anywhere for a while. But he had to start somewhere. Check out how it all began.
