Tim Hortons has introduced new Sparkling Quenchers, an Iced Capp and a Cold Brew to its cold drinks lineup, in addition to bringing back a fan favourite.

The fast food company has been on a roll. Earlier this month, Tim Hortons added a line of savoury pinwheels to its snack offerings. Later, it introduced four different flatbread pizzas that were surprisingly delicious.

We had the opportunity to try Tim Hortons’ new Sparkling Quenchers, Iced Capps, and Cold Brew, and here’s everything you need to know, plus our honest opinion.

Last year, Tim Hortons introduced a line of Sparkling Quenchers to its menu. The Blackberry Yuzu and Orange Ginger beverages are a blend of fruity flavours and sparkling water, making for a light and bubbly drink.

This year, Tim Hortons introduced two new sparkling quencher flavours: Mango Starfruit and Wildberry Hibiscus.

While both are quite refreshing and bursting with flavour, we preferred the Tim’s Wildberry Hibiscus Sparkling Quencher because of the balance between fruity and floral notes. It’s a combination of flavours we would’ve never expected to find at Tim Hortons, but so happy we did.

The Mango Starfruit Sparkling Quencher is also a great choice, but it’s loved in a different way. The tropical flavours are more potent and sweet. So if you’re looking for something to transport you to a beach, then maybe go for the Mango Starfruit.

We all love a classic Tim Hortons Iced Capp. But, what you’ll want to try this summer is the Caramilk Iced Capp and Oreo Double Stuf Iced Capp.

The Caramilk Iced Capp tastes like a dessert in a cup. If you love chocolate and Tim Hortons Iced Capp, you should order this on your next visit. The cold summer beverage has a Tim’s Iced Capp base blended with milk chocolate chunks, a swirl of whipped topping and a drizzle of caramel syrup.

Our favourite, and one that many Canadians enjoyed, which is why it was brought back, is Tim Hortons’ Oreo Double Stuf Iced Capp. The Tim Hortons Iced Capp is blended with Oreo cookie crumble and vanilla syrup. It is then topped with a layer of vanilla-flavoured whipped cream and Oreo cookie crumble.

In other words, if an Iced Capp and Oreo ice cream had a baby, this would be what it would taste like.

The cold brew at Tim Hortons is steeped for 16 hours before being served. This new addition is mixed with tiramisu syrup, topped with espresso-infused cold foam and sprinkled with cocoa powder.

We thought it tasted like an elevated version of a iced vanilla latte and we’re here for it.

The new Tim Hortons cold beverages are available in participating Tim Hortons locations across Canada and through mobile orders on the Tims app. Prices range from $3 to $5.
