In a small saucepan over medium heat reduce the apple cider down to ½ cup. Start checking the volume after 10 minutes, but this could take up to 20 minutes, depending on the size of the saucepan. Once reduced, pour into a shallow bowl and set aside to cool.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 5 minutes. In a small shallow bowl, mix cinnamon and sugar together with a fork and set aside.
Pop open the can of flaky rolls and place two pieces of the dough together. Press the dough down to flatten, and use a small round cookie cutter to cut out a center hole in each roll.
Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the raw dough to coat the donut entirely. Repeat this step for all other donuts.
Place donuts into the pre-warmed air fryer basket, you may need to work in batches and air fry at 350°F for 6-8 minutes.
Once the donuts are done, dip them into the reduced apple cider, coating all sides. Then dip the donuts into the cinnamon sugar mixture, coating all sides.
Serve warm and enjoy!
