Bang Bang sauce is a spicy and creamy mayo-based sauce that is perfect for coating your chicken in. Feel free to adjust the spice levels as needed, but trust me, you’re going to love it just the way it is. I like to make a big batch so that I can dip the chicken in it afterward as well. These bang bang chicken skewers are made in the air fryer, keeping our chicken juicy and full of flavour. It’s the perfect easy weeknight meal that would satisfy anyone’s cravings.

Dice chicken into 2-inch pieces.
Add chicken into a large bowl. Combine marinade ingredients and add to chicken, ensuring each piece is coated.
Marinade for 30 minutes or up to overnight.
Thread chicken onto wooden skewers (optimally you can soak your skewers for 30 mins).
Combine the sauce ingredients in a small bowl. Taste and adjust the seasonings as desired. Remove ¼ cup of this sauce, reserving the rest.
Brush the ¼ cup sauce onto the chicken. Spray an air fryer basket with oil and add the skewers. Cook for 6 minutes at 400 degrees. Flip and brush the remainder of the ¼ cup sauce onto skewers. Cook for an additional 6 minutes until golden and cooked through.
Remove and plate, brushing the tops with the reserved sauce. Garnish with green onions or herbs. Serve alongside reserved sauce and enjoy!
