This recipe is like a mashup between mozzarella sticks and poutine! Breaded cheese curds are served alongside a quick beef gravy for dipping (okay, maybe a little ketchup too). If you don’t have an air fryer, simply bake the curds in the oven.

These air fryer cheese curds pair great with ketchup, too.
For the cheese curds, in a small mixing bowl stir together the bread crumbs, parmesan, salt and pepper.
Dust the cheese curds in flour.
Dip flour-dusted cheese curds in egg wash.
Toss cheese curds in bread crumbs.
Transfer cheese curds to a plate and freeze for 15 minutes before air frying.
Brush the cheese curds with olive oil and transfer in a single layer to a preheated air fryer. Fry at 400ºF degrees for 5 to 7 minutes.
Meanwhile, make the gravy. In a small saucepan over medium heat whisk together the butter, flour and garlic until toasted.
Whisk in the beef stock and continue cooking until mixture thickens. Remove from heat. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Remove cheese curds from air fryer and transfer to a plate. Serve with gravy for dipping!
