cup Napa cabbage, finely chopped

Tbsp garlic, minced

Tbsp ginger, minced

Tbsp fish sauce

cup glass noodles, blanched and finely chopped
salt and pepper, to taste

oz dumpling wrappers
canola or vegetable oil, for frying
soy sauce, for dipping (optional)

Step 1
Combine ground beef, Napa cabbage, garlic, ginger, green onion, egg, fish sauce, pho spice, sugar, glass noodles, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Mix well.
Step 2
Place one tablespoon of dumpling mix in the centre of each dumpling wrapper. Moisten edges with water. Fold wrappers over the filling to form semicircles; press firmly to seal and make pleats.
Step 3
Heat deep fryer to 350ºF. Fry dumplings in batches for about 3-4 minutes, until they are golden brown. Serve with soy sauce for dipping (optional).
