This dish is a type of whoopie pie with a cake like texture and cream cheese filling.

Preheat the oven to 350ºF (175ºC).
Toast almonds in a pan for about 10 minutes. Remove them from heat, chop and set aside.
In a bowl, combine sliced bananas, chocolate chips, coconut and roasted almonds.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.
Using a stand or hand mixer, cream the butter, brown sugar and white sugar for 5 minutes until very smooth.
Add the egg into the butter and sugar.
Add vanilla.
Add in the banana mixture.
Turn the mixer on low and slowly incorporate the dry ingredients.
Using a small ice cream scoop, place cookie dough on a baking sheet leaving space between each cookie.
Bake cookies at 350ºF for 20 minutes.
Fill cookies with cream cheese icing.
Drizzle tops with melted chocolate.
