oz gummy worms (about 1 ½ cups)

Special equipment: ten 3-ounce ice-pop molds; Note: time includes freezing time.

Step 1

Add the sugar and ½ cup water to a small saucepan. Place over low heat and warm, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is just coming to a simmer. Remove from the heat and stir in the lemon juice, ice and ½ cup water to cool the mixture until the ice is completely melted.

Step 2

Meanwhile, stuff about 3 gummy worms in each of ten 3-ounce ice-pop molds. Fill the molds with the cooled lemonade, just enough to cover the worms. Freeze for at least 10 hours or according to the manufacturer’s directions.
