Quick and easy desserts made with a pecan filling inside prepared mini pie shells

cup granulated sugar

cup corn syrup

cup maple syrup

cup (about 5 tbsp) salted butter, melted

tbsp brown sugar

tbsp whiskey

heaping cup chopped pecans plus 14 whole pecans

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
Step 2
Mix together the granulated sugar, corn syrup, maple syrup, butter, brown sugar, whiskey, vanilla, salt and eggs in a bowl.
Step 3
Divide the chopped pecans among the pie shells. Pour the syrup mixture over the top and put a whole pecan on top of each. Bake until just set, 20 to 25 minutes. Let cool.
