cup brown sugar

cup water
Spare Ribs
Muskrats, skinned and cleaned

Step 1
Mix together all ingredients.
Cook over low heat and stir constantly to melt the sugar.
Reduce to obtain a syrupy consistency.
Step 2
Tie the meat securely on a long metal spit and brush generously with spare rib sauce.
Suspend the spit over embers and turn frequently.
Glaze with the sauce on several occasions.
