mussels, steamed

mozzarella ball, cubed

cup bread crumbs

large egg, beaten and salted

cup flour
olive oil for frying

Step 1
With a toothpick skewer a mussel and cube of mozzarella, alternating. Two of each per toothpick. With the skewered toothpick, dredge in flower, then egg wash and lastly coat in breadcrumbs. Fry in olive oil until golden.
