can chickpeas, drained, rinsed and patted very dry

Tbsp canola oil

Tbsp brown sugar
½
tsp garlic powder
½
tsp onion powder

tsp chili powder
¼
tsp kosher salt

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 300ºF. In a bowl combine the brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder and salt. Add chickpeas to the mixture and stir to combine.

Step 2

Add to a baking sheet and bake for 1 hour or until the chickpeas sound hollow when the baking sheet is shaken.
