Spanish Meat Patties

Combine rice and water in a large microwave-safe pot or casserole with lid.
Microwave according to package directions.
Combine the following in a large bowl in this order: ground beef, cornflake crumbs, salsa, onion flakes, spices and garlic.
Form into 4 to 6 large patties and grill on BBQ. Close lid.
Spray large piece of foil with cooking spray, shiny side in.
Coarsely chop onion and tomatoes and sliced mushrooms.
Heap in centre of foil.
Sprinkle with spice, drizzle with oil and wrap.
Place on BBQ beside meat approximately 5 to 7 minutes turning once. Close lid.
Place cooked meat in a serving dish with lid until veggies are cooked.
Warm patties in microwave for 2 minutes
Serve patties on rice with veggies on the side. (garnish with black olives if desired)
Pour sauce on top of each patty.
In a small stove-top pot combine ketchup, broth and spices.
Heat and stir until well blended. Remove from heat.
