English cucumbers

cup water
1
cup white vinegar
¾
cup sugar or sugar substitute

fat segment of garlic, sliced extremely thin
1
very thin slice of onion (white or purple)

Tbsp lime juice

Hide it well or else it will be gone before you get any!
Step 1
Combine water, vinegar, sugar and lime juice in a bowl.
Step 2
Remove skin from cucumber. Slice very thin.
Step 3
Slice garlic paper thin. Be careful!
Step 4
Slice onion very thin, then cut pieces into reasonable size.
Step 5
Place cucumber, garlic, and onion in the bowl. Place the bowl in the fridge. Let it sit at least 2 hours so everything soaks in the flavor. It can sit much longer if you want. It won’t go bad.
