If your TikTok FYP is anything like ours lately, it’s been flooded with videos of #custardtoast, the new viral recipe that just about everyone seems to be making. The premise is simple: take a piece of bread, smother it in yogurty “custard”, top it with berries and then bake (or air fry!) until the custard is set and the bread is perfectly golden. While not every viral recipe is a winner, we were delighted to discover that this one absolutely is. Think of it as a prettier, easier take on classic French toast that tastes just like dessert for breakfast.
